Local dentists and local artists are teaming up to raise money for the Wissachickon Educational Opportunities Foundation or WEOF. Dentists are using their walls to sell art with the proceeds being split between the artist and the charity. Currently art displays can be seen at the offices of Dr. John L. Stoller, 901 Sunset Drive, Blue Bell and Dr. Peter Rosenman, 921 Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike, Blue Bell. The art shows will rotate from office to office changing at least once every six months.
The current art show at Dr. Stoller’s office is by local artist Michel Taupin. Michel Taupin was born in Brussels, Belgium and grew up in Manhattan. He studied photography as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was photograph editor of the University of Pennsylvania Record. He worked as a freelance photographer and photojournalist during his college years. He is currently a radiologist at a local hospital.
